Kate Richard Design (KRD) is a full service interior styling and luxury organization firm. Referred to by past clients as an angel and a human xanax, KRD's forte is to creating meaningful, thoughtful and functional spaces. We are based in Nashville, TN but travel the country and world for our clients which have included Jack Daniels, NFL stars, artists and musicians. Additionally, KRD features a unique marketplace, KOVET by KRD. It is a thoughtfully edited collection of home decor treasures, vintage jewels, luxury & gently used accessories and anything else deemed to be fabulous!
With a different approach to traditional design firms, KRD first looks to a client’s existing furniture, home decor and art to style the space. We all have pieces we love, a collection of meaningful items collected over years or items handed down over generations. We like to ensure these are incorporated. Maybe it is your grandmother’s old trunk collecting dust in the attic or a unique souvenir from one of your travels, but does not have the prominence you’d like. KRD will determine the perfect place. Her philosophy is to "shop" and "merchandise" your own home first and then fill in with new pieces as necessary. Another unique attribute of KRD is their attainablity. With access to a variety of vendors and sources, KRD can work with any budget and will pass along any trade discount to the client. Transparency always comes first with KRD.
When it comes to organizing, nobody takes more pride in their work. A type A personality has lead Kate to where she is today and her love of cultivating a functional organized space. Many clients find they sleep better and feel more peace and calm after Kate has organized their space.
