DESCRIPTION:

This is a truly unique and very rare item. This is a blue and white ceramic and brass tiffin box. Tiffin boxes are still used today in India to transport meals easily while navigating the busy streets. This was created during British Colonial times and reproduced in the early 20th century. The fish is a sign of good luck.

It is 3 ceramic bowls stacked on top of one another with a brass handle and closing mechanism.

THINGS OF NOTE: Excellent condition. The brass can easily be polished but I kept it patinaed and the owner can determine if they want to polish it.
